Chiropractic, P.C. was established in Massapequa, New York by
Dr. Gregory
E. Buzzell and his wife, Dr. Cecilia I. Yee, in early 1993. In their
14 years of business, they have developed their practice into a highly
reputable family oriented office treating patients of all ages, from
childhood to those in their golden years. Using little to no advertising,
the practice has prospered from internal patient referrals as well
as those from of many local medical doctors including internists,
pediatricians, and obstetricians.
The goal of Buzzell Chiropractic is to provide the highest quality of healthcare in a warm and friendly environment. The patients are treated with the utmost care directly by the doctors, and every treatment plan is customized to their individual needs. Services include various forms of physiotherapy such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, intermittent traction for disc herniations, as well as trigger point therapy and muscular active release techniques for chronic muscle pain. Dr. Yee specializes in NAET, an allergy elimination technique and Quantum Biofeedback, a computerized energetic rebalancing device. She also incorporates nutritional advice and supplementation to treatment protocols when necessary.
In addition to treating acute injuries, the office also focuses on maintaining the patient’s health and well-being by integrating periodic well visits to the treatment plans. These well visits act to prevent future injuries by sustaining the proper balance in the body, very much like maintenance visits for the automobile. About Our Doctors Dr. Gregory Buzzell holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Long Island University at C.W. Post, has a 4 year doctors degree in Chiropractic, and an additional 4 years of study in the field of orthopedics of which he is board certified. Additional training in the field of orthopedics encompasses 360 hours, in which the study and incorporation of MRI, CT-scan, neurology, physiotherapy, patient management, and electrodiagnostic testing is conducted. Dr. Buzzell graduated in April 1993 from New York Chiropractic College and holds a license to practice in New York and Connecticut.He has been practicing in Massapequa, New York for the past 14 years and has recently opened a new practice in Manhattan located at 139 Haven Avenue New York, NY 10032. In addition to practicing, Dr. Buzzell has worked as an instructor at The New Center College in Syosett, N.Y. and has also taught review courses for National and State chiropractic board exams in subjects including biochemistry, anatomy, neurology, physiology, general diagnosis, and x-ray interpretation. When not seeing patients or teaching, he enjoys training in karate, of which he is a fifth degree blackbelt. Moreover, Dr. Buzzell is conversant in the three languages of English, Spanish, and French.
Dr. Cecilia Yee attended New York Institute of Technology from which she received a Bachelors of Science Degree and was inducted into the Nu Upsilon Tau Honor Society. She graduated from New York Chiropractic College in April 1993 and holds licenses to practice in New York, Connecticut, and Virginia. She has been in partnership with Dr. Buzzell for the last 14 years in Massapequa, New York, and specializes in the holistic allergy elimination technique called NAET as well as a Quantum Biofeedback, a computerized energetic rebalancing device. Throughout her academic years, she has won several scholarships and awards in the fields of science, literature, and art. "After
